Dwight W. Allen

Dwight W. Allen has more than 40 years of experience in the practice of law. He also serves as Executive Vice President of the North Carolina Telephone Cooperative Coalition, Inc. He began his practice in the general practice of law and has practiced in government, private practice and in-house corporate practice. He previously served as Secretary, Vice President, General Counsel and President of a large telecom company. He has also been an adjunct professor at the Norman A. Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University where he taught Regulatory Law and Policy.  Dwight was recognized by the North Carolina Telecommunications Industry Association for his outstanding contributions to the industry in North Carolina and, in 2000, received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian award. He has a Martindale Hubbell AV® peer rating.
